Cooking with Cricut Blogaversary Day 2 Hop

Welcome to Paper Crafting World and Cooking with Cricut Blogaversaty Blog Hop! Our design Teams are so excited to bring you a two-day hop that focuses on projects honoring a second anniversary: Cloth, Crystal and Glass.

WE think you will be blown away by some of the super creative inspiration and interpretation of our designers.

PLUS, this hop is the kick off to our week long celebration! Each day for a whole week we will be bringing you fabulous projects made by our designers and each day we will be giving away free vintage graphics, digital printable and/or electronic cutting files! So you will want to make CWC-PCW a daily stop for the next week!

You should have arrived from JEANNIE from Java Jen Creations . If you've joined us mid-hop and would like to check out all the other fantastic projects head on over to CWC-PCW and start at the beginning.

For my blog hop project I decorated a nice big candle jar - in purple! Since I was working on my boy gifts last week I figured I better get started on my baby girl projects now:

I used the rollled scallop flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge and the title from New Arrival.

There are several prizes to be won so be sure to head on over and join the fun at CWC-PCW. There is a "cloth, crystal or glass" challenge you can enter to win, as well as other SUPER CUTE blog candy just for being a follower and commenting, so don't miss out!

Thanks for stopping by! But the fun does not stop here, head on over to Lindsey's over at Outside the Lines and check out what she has cooked up!

Cooking With Cricut Cartridge Showcase

Hello CWC Friends! Thank you for stopping by for another dose of inspiration. This week over at CWC  I am featuring the Cricut Alphabet Cartridge

This cartridge is full of cute and swirly designs along with a very nice and elegant alphabet. This font has become one of my favorites. This cartridge is exclusive to the New Cricut Expression 2.

For my first project I did a cute gift holder and a matching card. This cute little gift holder can also serve as a center piece for baby shower.

For the center piece I used the Its a boy title along with the cute little baby carriage. They have titles for both boy and girl. I decided to go for boy since that is what I needed for upcoming baby shower.

For the card I used New arrival for the onsie, but I used Cricut alphabet for the title. This cartridge has an array of very cute swirly titleS like the baby word.

I belong to Lambda Theta Nu Sorority and I am often looking for cute Greek alphabets to use in my gifts for my sisters. Since this cartridge has such a lovely font I decided to play with it in CCR to get greek letters out of the ordinary Alphabet. For the Lambda I used an upside down V. For the Theta I used an O and welded a cute little swirly and for Nu I used used a regular N. I accented with a very cute little rose also available on this cartridge. Just because what you want is on there does not mean you can't make it.

For this card I used Melin I love you a latte svg along with the cute little cup and steam from Cricut Alphabet. I also go to use my washi tape as a little accent on the card.

For my last card I wanted to try one of the nice doilies this cartridges has. I used the doily and welded it together for the base of the card, then cut the doily in 2 different sizes for the background. The phrase is already a design in the cartridge.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoyed browsing through my projects. Now get those E2's out and start creating!

CWC Challenge #85: Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Welcome to another day of inspiration at Cookink with Cricut today we have some great projects to share, all perfect for surprising any special women on Mother Day.

For my project I created a cute little flower box, it was designed to be filled with flowers, but I supposed you can fill it with anything your heart desires:

I used the art philosophy cartridge for the rolled flowers. I also used Melin's scallop rolled rose and raggedy rose I added some rhinestones, feathers and fibers to accent them and VOILA!

I want to wish all my craft moms out there a Happy Mother's Day! May good bless you and your children always. Sending a special message to the wonderful lady that I call Mamí or Soco, she is the most caring and nurturing person I will ever know but best of all she is my MOHTER - Te Quiero Mucho Soco!
